Article creation
[edit]@Einsof, nice to see this new article! I hope my additions have been useful (I find that introducing sectioning, even when it's not yet long enough to really need it currently, can help articles develop better over time.)
Have you thought about submitting it to DYK? Some potential blurbs:
- ...that India's constitution guarantees a right to unblocked footpaths?
- ...that street vendors blocking footpaths have opposed measures to ban blocking footpaths?

- I think that's a great idea. The first blurb might be better than the second because the second seems more complicated to cover comprehensively. The monograph by Loukaitou-Sideris has a whole chapter on it (including a resurgence of legislation in the 1980s) and I'm not sure it's mature enough in the article yet. Thanks for your additions and organization — I was worried when I created it that it would be too short and wind up deleted or draftified. Einsof (talk) 02:42, 1 November 2026 (UTC)
- Sounds good! I'll leave it to you to create the DYK nomination once you think it's ready (the eligibility window is 7 days from article creation, and you don't need to do a QPQ for your first nom). Cheers, Sdkb talk 02:49, 1 November 2026 (UTC)
