This template is for the creation of templates used to display flexible and easy-to-update quarterly calendars in a wikitable format.
While it is possible to use this template to create calendars on pages without an intermediary template, it is not recommended because it clogs up the source wikitext of the page and makes the calendar harder to maintain.
This is a work in progress that is only being placed in templatespace now because it is functional for the use case it was tailored to; it will soon be modified for general use.
