Welcome to Wikipedia!

[edit]
Welcome AsepTisch!
Hello AsepTisch. Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions!

I'm Jauerback, one of the other editors here, and I hope you decide to stay and help contribute to this amazing repository of knowledge.

Some pages of helpful information to get you started:
  Introduction to Wikipedia
  The five pillars of Wikipedia
  Editing tutorial
  How to edit a page
  Simplified Manual of Style
  The basics of Wikicode
  How to develop an article
  How to create an article
  Help pages
  What Wikipedia is not
Some common sense Dos and Don'ts:
  Do be bold
  Do assume good faith
  Do be civil
  Do keep cool!
Do maintain a neutral point of view
  Don't spam
  Don't infringe copyright
Don't edit where you have a conflict of interest
  Don't commit vandalism
  Don't get blocked
If you need further help, you can:
  Ask a question
or you can:
  Get help at the Teahouse
or even:
Ask an experienced editor to "adopt" you

Alternatively, leave me a message at my talk page or type {{Help me}} here on your talk page and someone will try to help.

There are many ways you can contribute to Wikipedia. Here are a few ideas:
  Fight vandalism
Be a WikiFairy or a WikiGnome
  Help contribute to articles
  Perform maintenance tasks

Become a member of a project that interests you
  Help design new templates
Subscribe and contribute to The Signpost
Translate articles from Wikipedias in other languages

To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Please remember to:

  • Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~ at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp.
  • Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.
The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!

Sincerely, Jauerbackdude?/dude. (Leave me a message) 22:54, 4 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

User talk:~2026-14294-42

[edit]

Hi AsepTisch. I wanted to let you know that I removed the CSD tag you placed on the above user talk page. We don't delete user talk pages without a very good reason, and vandalism isn't good enough. The next time someone misuses their talk page, you can just remove the inappropriate content and replace it with {{uw-usertalk}}. Chess enjoyer (talk) 15:29, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Finally I can answer: Thank you, I'll know better next time. My thought of deletion was related to the size of the page, but exchanging it with a warning is of course the better way. AsepTisch (talk) 17:12, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Susan B. Anthony was found innocent NOT guilty of breaking an unfair law I really despise! That judge who was against her is wrong and he deserves to be punished!--~2026-11848-57 (talk) 18:59, 5 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Interpack moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Interpack. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and relies on too many primary sources. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. FiddleheadLady (talk) 01:08, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Hey, can we move this back to my user-space? I will not have time to work on this in english for the next couple months and would rather not have it deleted while being in draft. Highly appreciated! AsepTisch (talk) 05:50, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

About my recent Undo

[edit]

You posted on User talk:~2026-34638-61 something that seemed pretty similar to what I posted. I just wanted to let you I undid it, because it was redundant. Enćenćecasïdća (talk) 20:34, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

No problem, I think we were posting pretty simultaneous. Just glad we are on the same page :) AsepTisch (talk) 20:36, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Glad we are. Thanks Enćenćecasïdća (talk) 20:37, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Temporary account IP viewer granted

[edit]
The temporary account IP viewer logo, composed of the Wikipedia globe with a user and an IP address

Hello, AsepTisch. Per your request, your account has been granted temporary-account-viewer rights. You are now able to reveal the IP addresses of individuals using temporary accounts that are not visible to the general public. This is very sensitive information that is only to be used to aid in anti-abuse workflows. Please take a moment to review Wikipedia:Temporary account IP viewer for more information on this user right. It is important to remember:

  • You must not share IP address data with someone who does not have the same access permissions unless disclosure is permissible as per guidelines listed at Foundation:Policy:Wikimedia Access to Temporary Account IP Addresses Policy.
  • Access must not be used for political control, to apply pressure on editors, or as a threat against another editor in a content dispute. There must be a valid reason to investigate a temporary user. Note that using multiple temporary accounts is not forbidden, so long as they are not used in violation of policies (for example, block or ban evasion).

It is also important to note that the following actions are logged for others to see:

  • When a user accepts the preference that enables or disables IP reveal for their account.
  • Revealing an IP address of a temporary account.
  • Listing the temporary accounts that are associated with one or more IP addresses (using the CIDR notation format).

Remember, even if a user is violating policy, avoid revealing personal information if possible. Use temporary account usernames rather than disclosing IP addresses directly, or give information such as same network/not same network or similar. If you do not want the user right anymore then please ask me or another administrator and it will be removed for you. You may also voluntarily give up access at any time by visiting Special:Preferences. Happy editing! — rsjaffe 🗣️ 12:57, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Read and understood. Thank you very much! AsepTisch (talk) 13:15, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
