Reason for declining submission
[edit]Beta Beta Beta,
DoubleGrazing said to ask you about my Articles for Creation draft about myself, Matthew Laur.
You said my draft was declined because of LLM use, but I wrote it entirely by myself. Can you tell me exactly what parts you're accusing of being written by AI?? I've never used any form of assistance on the page. LaurPower86 (talk) 13:32, 21 October 2026 (UTC)
DYK for Great Upon Little
[edit]On 22 October 2026, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Great Upon Little, which you recently nominated. The fact was ... that there used to be 30 climbing routes for Great Upon Little? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Great Upon Little. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (Great Upon Little), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to nominate it.
EOTW nominations
[edit]Hi Beta Beta Beta! Hope you are doing well. I wanted to write about your recent activity at WP:EOTW/N. You've been nominating some great candidates, and I am sincerely grateful for that. Around this time last year, another editor mass nominated so many editors that we had to implement a multi-month moratorium on further EOTW nominations, and I would like to avoid that happening again. Please be mindful to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to make a nomination if they see someone doing incredible work. And again, thank you for your work—it is appreciated :) Best, HouseBlaster (talk • edits • he/they) 04:57, 30 October 2026 (UTC)
- I have no ideas for EoTW nominations anyways so I'll be holding off to prevent another moratorium and because I don't really know who to nominate. Thanks for the heads up though! Beta Beta Beta - talk 05:42, 30 October 2026 (UTC)
Rollback granted
[edit]
Hi Beta Beta Beta. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! MCE89 (talk) 07:40, 30 October 2026 (UTC)
