The Fervo Bedrock Program is a cross-functional development program designed to shape the next generation of leaders in geothermal energy.

Participants will rotate through various departments at Fervo Energy, gaining a holistic, cross-functional understanding of the geothermal development process.

Here’s what a Bedrock Rotational Analyst can expect after they join our team:

  • Get comprehensive exposure to the geothermal development lifecycle and planning efforts through four 6-month rotations with different teams at Fervo
  • Grow personally and professionally through mentorship and hands-on learning in a fast-paced business environment
  • Join a growing network of Bedrock Program participants, many of whom have led high-impact projects at Fervo

Upon completion of the program, participants will be placed on a team full-time based on their best fit and interests.

How it Works

The Fervo Bedrock Program is crafted to create the next generation of leaders in geothermal energy.

Rotation Selection:

  •  Candidates’ background and experience act as the bedrock layer of their experience—influencing their first rotation and final placement
  • Candidates’ first rotation will be determined by Fervo, based on education and work experience
  • Subsequent rotations determined on a case-by-case basis, based on combination of interests, company needs and opportunities, and mentor feedback
  • Final placements will be largely guided based on candidates’ experiences and what team is the best fit
