Families with incomes under $150,000 pay zero tuition

Beginning in the academic year 2026-2027, the Pathways to Notre Dame program ensures that families with the following income levels will receive scholarship guarantees:

  • Families with income up to $150K* receive aid that covers at least full tuition
  • Families with income up to $200K* receive aid that covers at least half tuition
  • Most students with family income up to $60K (with typical assets) receive a no-loan financial aid package that covers tuition, fees, housing, and food.

*Families with significant assets above what is typical for their income level may not qualify for this level of support, but Notre Dame is still committed to funding 100% of demonstrated need. A family's assets might include cash and savings, investments, home equity, business net worth, other real estate, and any other assets. We exclude qualifying retirement accounts.
