About Me

I am currently completing my M.Sc. in Bioinformatics with a strong focus on transcriptomics and clinical genomics. I am actively looking for jobs and internships at companies and research institutes in these areas.

My hands-on experience includes:

  • Conducting bulk RNA-seq analysis for Differential Gene Expression (DGE) using DESeq2 to identify key transcriptomic signatures.
  • Profiling microRNA NGS data to perform DGE and downstream regulatory network analysis.
  • Processing microarray datasets for robust DGE profiling utilizing the limma package.
  • Applying immuno-informatics approaches for in silico vaccine design and epitope prediction.

🌱 What I am learning: I am currently expanding my skills by diving into:

  • Nextflow automation for NGS pipelines to build reproducible workflows.
  • Machine Learning applications for biological data analysis.
  • Exploring cellular heterogeneity through single-cell RNA-seq data analysis.
  • Investigating microbiome composition and diversity through 16S rRNA metagenomics profiling.
  • Performing Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) variant calling for clinical genomics across multiple platforms:
    • Short-read (Illumina): Utilizing GATK best practices and Google DeepVariant.
    • Long-read (Oxford Nanopore): Utilizing specialized tools like Clair tools.
