Recently I was marking up tons of images, where the desired image segments were in the corners. To speed up workflow I've wrote functions to zoom in corners. Now, you can press:
1 - zoom in left top corner
2 - right top
3 - right bottom
4 - left bottom.
This is easy to remember because the sequence in clockwise order. The only obvious drawback is the constant scale of 300%. If anyone can improve this, please do not hesitate ;)

Tested this on:

  • Debian Stretch
  • Python 3.7
  • Qt5

May I know what use cases are for these? What's the intention to zoom in corners?

@tzutalin Sure. This is mainly needed in order to accurately mark logos (or watermarks) on video frames. We have a task to determine whether a video belongs to a social network, for example, LIKE, F3, Blur, etc.
