UltraPip:

The Ultimate Picture-in-Picture Extension

logo

VersionLicenseChrome CompatibleFirefox Compatible

Material Pro PiP supercharges your browser's default Picture-in-Picture (PiP) functionality. It replaces the basic, limited PiP with a fully-featured, customizable, and universally compatible video player that floats on top of your work.

Built with the modern Document Picture-in-Picture API, this extension gives you the control and features you've always wanted, from custom themes and keyboard shortcuts to seamless navigation of video feeds like YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.

(A GIF showcasing the extension in action would be perfect here!)

✨ Key Features

  • Universal Site Support: Works flawlessly on sites where standard PiP struggles, including YouTube (Shorts & regular videos), Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, Dailymotion, VK, Bilibili, and many more.
  • Smart Floating Button: A non-intrusive PiP button automatically appears over any video you mouse over, bypassing invisible overlays used by many sites.
  • Modern Material You UI: A clean, beautiful player interface inspired by Google's Material Design, with smooth animations and clear icons.
  • Customizable Themes: Choose between an Auto (system-matching), Light, or Dark theme for the player.
  • Accent Color: Personalize the player's seekbar, volume slider, and buttons with any color you choose.
  • Advanced Volume Control: A sleek, YouTube-style volume slider that expands on hover, plus use your mouse wheel to adjust volume directly in the PiP window.
  • Smart Feed & Playlist Navigation:
    • On YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc., the Next/Previous buttons seamlessly scroll the feed to the next video.
    • On a standard YouTube /watch page, the buttons intelligently trigger YouTube's native "Next Video" and "Previous Video" actions in the playlist.
  • Fully Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts: Don't like the defaults? Set your own key combinations (including Alt, Ctrl, Shift combos) for every major action via the settings page.
  • Intuitive Playback Control:
    • Click anywhere on the video to Play/Pause.
    • Use Arrow Keys to seek forward/backward (/) and adjust volume (/).
    • Hold Ctrl while using arrow keys for a longer 10-second seek.
  • Integrated Settings Panel: A dedicated settings button inside the PiP window gives you one-click access to the options page.
