What?

This pull request contains minor documentation and changelog updates to improve clarity and consistency across the project. The main changes are formatting adjustments in the CHANGELOG.md, updates to URLs in the release instructions in CONTRIBUTING.md, and a small note removal in the developer guide.

Documentation and Changelog Formatting:

  • Standardized bullet formatting in CHANGELOG.md for consistency and readability.
  • Added a missing comparison link for version 0.2.0 in CHANGELOG.md.

Release Instructions and URLs:

  • Updated all GitHub URLs in CONTRIBUTING.md to use the correct WordPress casing for the organization name. [1] [2]

Developer Guide Cleanup:

  • Removed a temporary note about the wordpress/wp-ai-client package from docs/DEVELOPER_GUIDE.md since the plugin scaffolding is now ready for integration.

Why?

I noticed these while working on releasing v0.2.0 and came back now to tidy them up.

How?

Looks good to me but noticed a few other things when I was looking at the release on WordPress.org yesterday that we could clean up if you want:

  • In the readme.txt the Abilities Explorer is still marked as coming soon:

    ai/readme.txt

    Lines 68 to 70 in 0cbc9ab

    **Developer Tools Coming Soon:**
    * **Abilities Explorer** - Test and explore registered AI abilities (available when experiments are enabled)
  • We have a screenshot/gif of Title Generation but not Excerpt Generation or the Abilities Explorer
  • I'm seeing the tsconfig.json file on .org. We should add that to our .gitattributes file so it's not included in the final release
