What changed?

  • Add a beautiful Omarchy decryption + loading flow by @ryanrhughes in Omarchy v1.3.0 #89
  • Add theme-consistent coloring of the new power menu by @dhh
  • Add fingerprint authentication to sudo + system prompt when using omarchy-fingerprint-setup by @dhh in Switch to polkit-gnome #109
  • Add idle/sleep prevention on Super + Ctrl + I by @dhh
  • Add a 2px border to the wofi menus to better set them apart from the background by @dhh
  • Switch to using power menu exclusively using Super + Esc to control lock/suspend/relaunch/restart/shutdown. Remove the confusingly prolific hotkeys + power icon in the top right. Super + Esc is now required learning to operate Omarchy. Work by @npenza.
  • Switch from iwctl to Impala TUI for selecting Wi-Fi networks by @da-maltsev
  • Switch from hyprpolkitagent to polkit-gnome to better support fingerprint authentication by @dhh
  • Remove Clipse as a clipboard manager as it would store passwords from 1password in plain text by @dhh
  • Fix cleaning up yay-bin after installing it by @bbondier
  • Fix that wifi/bluetooth/volume windows were too small by @dhh
  • Fix F keys on Apple-mode keyboards like the Flow84 permantly by @reshadman
  • Fix user keybindings weren't being included in Super + K by @dhh
  • Fix that 1password wouldn't work with 2FA setup because gnome-keyring was missing by @dhh

Switch to polkit-gnome to make fingerprint authentication work better

hyprpolkit was not designed well for fingerprint authentication. It
doesn't allow you to easily deal with both fingerprints and passwords in
the same configuration.
