I sit at the seam where AI capability meets public-sector reality — where a clever model has to survive security accreditation, real users, and a permanent secretary asking "but does it actually work?"

Right now I'm embedded in DSIT's AI Engineering Lab — the first UK Government programme to scale AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Kiro) across 1,000+ engineers in departments including UKHSA, Home Office, HMRC, UKEF and NHS. I lead the Forward Deployed Engineers and own the adoption workstream end to end.

Before that I took Cafcass AI Scribe from proof-of-concept to production: 1,500+ advisors, 80,000+ letters a month, Gartner Eye on Innovation runner-up.
