Summary

This PR fixes: #234148 by omitting fields that shouldn't be included in datafeed preview requests

Elasticsearch issue was created to check if it is not a schema problem on backend side.

If this job config is obtained via the

GET _ml/anomaly_detectors/{JOB_ID}

API, you should have added the query param

?exclude_generated

to not obtain these fields.

I agree that exclude_generated should be used here rather than removing these properties ourselves.

Rather than loading the job and datafeed with direct calls to the apis, we can use the kibana endpoint internal/jobs/job_for_cloning which returns a job and datafeed and uses exclude_generated under the hood.

e.g.
const { job, datafeed } = await mlApi.jobs.jobForCloning(job.job_id)
