We have validated this PR for Linux package v 4.1 on latest 7.14 snapshot build on cloud staging environment and found it working fine there, We have already shared our observation for same on elastic/integrations#1317

Further, as we validated commits for 7.14bc3 on staging environments and found that merges for this under BC build is pending, so we are currently, holding it off for testing on BC builds.

7.14BC3 cloud-staging build details:
BUILD 42545
COMMIT c314921a9893e0b46d9a3958f5520e3d6b1ce7d5

We will retest and on post our observations again for it. Please let us know if anything else is required.

Hi @EricDavisX

We are referring to latest 7.14BC3 on staging environment. And per ticket summary, they are promoting changes from snapshot to staging. So for validating same on staging it pending as currently below is happening on staging 7.14BC3 build.

• Linux version available 4.1
• However, Linux package data streams from system metrics settings are not generated properly. integrations#1296 issue is still occurring, as fix merges are not available there.

That's why, we mentioned it to retest till code is available there too.
