@tomchristie Could you fix required GH checks for httx/httpcore repos as well as merge corresponding PRs when you are ready? With my current permissions I cannot do anything of that.

Have to open a new PR with changes from #2744, because it has been forcefully closed by GH (with no option to reopen).
