Pads freeze when selecting Italian #8163

Describe the bug
Selecting the Italian language in User Settings makes all pads stop working.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to https://notas.sindominio.net or https://pad.dsble.de (or any public instance on https://scanner.etherpad.org/ v3.3.3)
2. Create a pad
3. Click on Settings
4. Select language Italian/Italiano
5. The pad will freeze/stop responding
6. All pads then stop working as the language is set to italian for the browser

Expected behavior
The GUI language should change to italian. The pad should keep working.

• Etherpad version: v3.3.3 (in v3.2.0 italian language seems to work)

• OS: Fedora 44
• Browser Firefox
