Upgrade the theme to use Tailwind CSS v4. This creates a few benefits:
main.cssin Hugo as opposed to precompiling it separatelyautoSwitchAppearance = trueandfooter.showAppearanceSwitcher = false(related: discussions Allow to switch to Tailwind CSS default Dark mode strategy #980 & Dark and light mode #102)inlineMainCSStheme option (defaultfalse) that inlines the site's CSS into the HTML instead of referencing it via a<link>element. This is useful mostly for single page sites. This is a (small) breaking change for site owners, so I think this would have to be the start of Congo v3.0 if merged:
npm install --save-dev tailwindcss@4 @tailwindcss/cli @tailwindcss/typographysince Tailwind is built every time the site is built now.--color-neutral-50: 250, 250, 249;needs to be changed to--color-neutral-50: rgb(250, 250, 249);assets/css/custom.cssinstead of precompiling their own version of Tailwind.
