Uploading R package from local computer to Github using Rstudio

Hi all,

I am new to the Github and I am trying to upload my R package from my computer to my Github.
However, I received this error when I tried to submitted my R package,

use_github(organisation = "Lou96cpu")
ℹ Defaulting to "https" Git protocol.
✔ Creating GitHub repository "Lou96cpu/test".
Error in gh::gh():
! GitHub API error (404): Not Found
✖ URL not found: https://api.github.com/orgs/Lou96cpu/repos

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out where was wrong. Many thanks.

I decided to answer my own question so that it might help if any new comers like me bumped into this error. If you are trying to create a repository under your personal account like in my case, leave the "organisation" argument empty,

usethis::use_github()

is enough to communicate from local to your personal Github repo.
