Git push is failing

I'm trying push my local repository to a remote repository but I can't get it to work.
When I enter "git push origin master" into the command line the response I get is:
fatal: unable to connect to github.com:
github.com[0: 140.82.116.3]: errno=Resource temporarily unavailable

I've been trying this for several days. Any suggestions?

Check your internet.
Check Firewall/Proxy: They might block GitHub.
Switch Methods: Change from SSH to HTTPS or the other way around.
Allow GitHub IPs.
Use GitHub Debug Tool.

Hello!
I've ran "git config --global --get http.proxy" and nothing appears which I think means I have no proxys?

The first error was using HTTPS. When I try to use SSH the error I get is:
Warning: Permanently added the ECDSA host key for IP address '140.82.116.4' to the list of known hosts.
git@github.com: Permission denied (publickey).
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

On Linux/Mac:
eval "$(ssh-agent -s)"
ssh-add ~/.ssh/id_rsa

On Windows (Git Bash):
eval $(ssh-agent -s)
ssh-add /c/Users/your-username/.ssh/id_rsa

Double-check your firewall or proxy settings to ensure they're not blocking GitHub.

Hi I'm sorry I'm a bit confused. I ran eval $(ssh-agent -s) and got an agent PID number. What is "ssh-add /c/Users/your-username/.ssh/id_rsa" supposed to do? This path doesn't exist for me when I substitute in my username. Should it be directing towards the current working directory?

I tried disabling my firewalls but that doesn't change anything. I'm working on checking the proxy settings.

Hi @ameliatolles,

When you run ssh-add /c/Users/your-username/.ssh/id_rsa, it adds your SSH key to the SSH agent. If the path doesn't exist, your SSH key might not be in the default location.

Check your .ssh folder for your key:

cd /c/Users/your-username/.ssh
ls

If you don't have an SSH key, create one:
ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "your-email"

Hello! The only file I see in my .ssh folder is known_hosts. Is that the key file or do I need to create one? When I try running ssh-add /c/Users/your-username/.ssh/id_rsa with the correct path I get the response:
