Manually installing 1.5..35(-242) worked for me to fix this: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/17718-github-copilot/versions/stable |

I have this problem and logging out and back in to copilot only got the chat working, the Colpilot tab still says it is unavailable for the selected editor. |

Also experiencing this issue on PHPStorm 2024.3.4 on maxOS Sonoma. It is unclear what "logging out" of CoPilot means in this context. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin as well as clearing caches. The Authorize button fails to respond to clicks. |

What worked for me was to find the CoPilot button in the information tool bar of the JB IDE and log out from there. |

Thanks for this. It didn't work for me (erroring on an IDE incompatibility) but it did lead me to the Copilot button at the bottom of the IDE where I was able to log out and then log in again, and that worked.
