I'm currently studying Computer Science, with a focus on software development, algorithms, and data structures. I'm also exploring topics like artificial intelligence and machine learning. I’m working on my thesis right now which is developing a new system, including developing a web application to track scores for students . I’ve been diving into languages like Python, JavaScript, CSS for various projects. I’m focused on becoming a full-stack developer and eventually working backend but want to pursue full stack developer. I aim to gain practical experience, enhance my problem-solving skills, and collaborate with like-minded individuals in the community. By being part of this community, I hope to learn from others, share my experiences, and grow my network with fellow developers. |

Hello Everyone!I'm currently a student in the Internet Systems program at Federal Institute of Southern Rio Grande(IFSul) At the south of Brazil . I'm really passionate about software development and love diving into the why behind the code from core computer science concepts like data structures and algorithms to practical software engineering principles, testing, and even research methodologies. I love applying those concepts to projects! Right now, my main focus is a team project for my Front-end III and Back-end II classes: we're building a turn-based card game, and an application with a proper server-side system. In the past, I've also built a few mobile apps using Java in Android Studio, like a calculator and a BMI tracker. My core stack for classes is JavaScript and PHP for full-stack web development, alongside Java for my Android projects. I'm working hard to build a career in software development. I have six months of internship experience from Compass UOL, and I'm currently actively searching for my next internship or junior role where I can contribute to a team and continue to build my skills. I'm here to connect with other passionate students and developers, learn from your experiences, collaborate on projects, and just soak up all the knowledge this community has to share about GitHub and development! Looking forward to chatting with you all! 💬 |

Hello everyone! My name is Raquel I'm an adjunct faculty member at Community College of Philadelphia in the Computer Technologies Department. This semester I'm teaching Intro to Web Development, and a MS Office course. My webdev class is learning HTML and CSS, and is using GitHub to publish their website projects using GitHub Pages. If I have the opportunity to teach a data science class next month, I'll incorporate GitHub into that course as well. I'm hoping to learn the best ways to incorporate GitHub so that students can get exposure to real-world use cases. I'd also like to learn best practices for introducing Codespaces as an IDE for Chromebook users. |
