Does ubuntu-latest refer to the latest LTS release?

Looking at the ubuntu releases listed:

They are all LTS. I can't find anything specifically noting this in the docs though:

I'm currently looking at a bug in ubuntu 24.04 which is fixed in the ubuntu 25.04 release, so I'm curious if the ubuntu-latest image will be updated to be ubuntu 25.04.

Hi @k4lizen , Currently ubuntu-latest refers to ubuntu-24.04. We have ubuntu 22.04,ubuntu 24.04 in our repository.
Regarding ubuntu 25.04 , in near future we can include / not will be based on our stipulated timelines and product owners decisions
