Issue Accessing GitHub Foundation Certification After Student Pack Approval

Hi everyone,

I recently got approved for the GitHub Student Developer Pack (thanks for that!). I’m trying to claim the GitHub Foundations certification offer. According to the Student Pack benefits, it should be free.

However, when I try to enroll for the in-person Vue exam, it asks for a $35 fee. Is this expected? I’m based in Tunisia, in case it’s location-specific.

Could you please clarify if this certification is still fully free or if there's a workaround?

Student vouchers for GitHub Foundation Certification are on hold until this fall, this is due to the platform change from PSI to Pearson VUE.

Heads-up, Developer Pack members! The current batch of free GitHub Foundations exam vouchers disappears on June 30 2025. Redeem yours now and schedule the test at your convenience. Vouchers will pause while we migrate to a new platform—but they’ll be back this fall and expanded to teachers, too. Need a refresher? Hello, today I decided to schedule my GitHub Foundation certification exam, but it is showing 3K+ Rupess (I am an Indian Citizen).
Do you know if it is not part of the student developer pack? Is there any way to schedule it for free?

The reschedule policy requires you to make any changes at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam.

It's totally free.

To reschedule your appointment, please visit examcancelreschedule no later than 24 hours before your exam time.
The rescheduling process is handled through the Pearson VUE website.

like this when i am tring to get the code for my certification exam

is there anyway i can get the voucher code or anyway that the vouchers will available again in november . It is fine for me to wait for a few days if i can get a voucher code for my exam i am just a student to pay upto 3k
