  1. Is GitHub Copilot MCP (Multi-Platform Copilot) Generally Available (GA)?**
    No, MCP is still in public preview** (as of July 2025).
    Agent Mode (a separate feature) has reached GA, but MCP has not yet officially exited preview.

  2. Confirmation from GitHub’s Announcement**
    The [linked GitHub Changelog post](https://github.blog/changelog/2025-07-16-agent-mode-for-jetbrains-eclipse and-xcode-is-now-generally-available/) only confirms GA for Agent Mode, not MCP.
