Unable to Verify Academic Affiliation Despite Matching Documentation – Request for Support #171229
-
Hi everyone,Hello GitHub Education Team, I’m reaching out regarding repeated issues with verifying my academic affiliation for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. I’ve attempted the application five times using my academic progress certificate issued by UTEC (Universidad Tecnológica del Uruguay), which includes: My full legal name (matching my GitHub profile and billing information) The complete name of my institution (not just the logo) My student ID and enrollment date (August 2025) A list of courses and grades The issuing date of the certificate An English translation placed beside the original document Despite this, I keep receiving the same rejection notice stating that the text in the photo is unreadable or missing required details. I’ve ensured the image is clear, legible, and taken directly from my phone camera as requested. I’ve also updated my GitHub profile to match the document exactly. Could someone please advise on how to proceed or confirm whether the format I’m using is acceptable? I’m happy to provide both the original and translated versions again if needed. Thank you for your time and support. Best regards, Ignacio A. GitHub username: @ignacioalvarezperdomo |

Make sure to fill in your billing information and your GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. Also, make sure the image is clear and easy to read; if it looks blurry, take a new photo otherwise it will be rejected. Log out and log back into GitHub before re-applying.
