Describe the issue:

Adding a Bedrock provider in Assistant is not saved across reloads

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Add Bedrock through configuration modal
2. Reload Positron
3. Observe Bedrock is no longer available

Expected or desired behavior:

Configuration is saved

Were there any error messages in the UI, Output panel, or Developer Tools console?

Note: I believe this may be related to recent updates to Autoconfiguration logic.
