Is ref-tools-mcp self hostable? #10

I code just for fun as a hobby. I'm curious if I can self host this mcp server. I read through the readme and the code, but still have some questions. The readme says the codebase here doesn't support streamable http but yet the code base seems to actually support it. I personally don't understand the benefit in a self hosting scenario anyway, but that was a bit odd. So it does, but the readme is not up to date, or ?

The readme mentions that it can:
Filter search results and Fetches the part of the page that matters. However I couldn't find any code in the codebase which actually does that. But maybe I didn't know where to look. Does this code base actually do that, or is that the "secret sauce" and only in the paid not-self-hosted service?

It would be interesting to add a documentation lookup MCP to my GitHub copilot vs code tool, but am looking to do it on self-host hobbyist budget. 😸
