Did you spot the many runners passing by Nuuk Airport – and our youngest volunteer – at Runderful Nuuk last Saturday? 🏃♀️✈️ We were proud to sponsor the Runderful Nuuk Half Marathon this past weekend, cheering on the runners with water and snacks along the way. One little helper – our youngest volunteer – was especially proud to be part of the day. 💚 At Greenland Airports, we’re happy to support both sports and community. Congratulations to everyone who completed Runderful Nuuk! 👏

What does it mean to be an AFIS operator in Qaarsut?🤔✈️ We asked our colleague Stine, who says: "For me, being an AFIS operator at Greenland Airports in Qaarsut is much more than just a job – it’s a passion. Every day, I help pilots with the information they need to fly safely. At the same time, I contribute to ensuring that passengers enjoy a safe and pleasant travel experience – and I get to do it alongside some of the best colleagues, who can even make a snowstorm feel cozy. It’s a role that challenges me, inspires me, and gives me experiences you simply can’t get anywhere else. And in my opinion, I also have the world’s best office view: from here I can follow the fast-changing weather, watch the seasons transform the landscape, and be reminded every day of what a beautiful and unique place I get to work in. No two days are the same, but every day is a good one.” 📸 Photos by Stine – capturing the unique and ever-changing views from the AFIS tower, all year round. 👉 Read more about our AFIS training program on airports.gl
