The University of British Columbia's Vancouver campus is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) people. This guide provides resources and research strategies for finding information about Musqueam.

Musqueam's elected leaders signed a Declaration on June 10, 1976 to recognize their title over their traditional lands and waters. Musqueam has provided more information on the Musqueam Declaration and their traditional territory on their website.
