Mitra, launched in 2023, operates in packaged staples and related categories such as flour, pulses, rice, spices, edible oils, and instant mixes. Tierra Agrotech operates in agriculture and crop-related segments. The combined structure is intended to align farm-linked operations with retail-ready food products under one corporate entity. Alongside the merger announcement, the company has indicated plans for a public market listing. The merged entity is reported to be targeting an IPO on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) by September 2026, subject to regulatory processes and market conditions.
