Chicago Surveillance Primer
Annually, we file over a hundreds of requests under the Freedom of Information Act, aiming to reveal the concealed activities of government entities, especially law enforcement agencies and politicians. Through these efforts, we have successfully released tens of thousands of documents each year, illuminating instances of government corruption, deception, and corporate complicity. These documents have illuminated some of the gravest prisoner mistreatment in recent history.
