The Official Companion to the Eclipse Color Themes Website
This plugin is the official companion to the Eclipse Color Themes website, the new home for the Eclipse theme community.
After the original eclipsecolorthemes.org went offline, a void was left for developers who love to customize their IDE. The website was built to be a modern, open-source replacement. This plugin completes that vision by providing a direct bridge between the website and your workspace, creating a seamless experience for discovering and applying beautiful editor themes.
Features
- A Curated Collection: Comes packed with dozens of popular and beautiful themes to get you started.
- The Ultimate Theme Library: Provides a direct link to the Eclipse Color Themes website, where you can browse, download, and import from a collection of hundreds of community-submitted themes.
- Live Preview: Instantly see how a theme looks with a real-time code preview directly in the preference page.
- Easy to Use: A simple, modern UI with filtering and search makes it easy to find and apply the perfect theme.
- Extensible: Built on a powerful adapter system to provide consistent styling across multiple language editors.
Usage
- Go to Window -> Preferences (or Eclipse -> Settings... on macOS).
- Navigate to General -> Appearance -> Eclipse Themes.
- Pick a theme from the list to see how it looks.
- Click Apply and Close to set your new editor theme.

Hey Pedro
That’s interesting. I’m using the same Eclipse version here and it works fine, so I’d like to understand what’s happening on your setup.
Can you open a new issue so we can dig into it properly?
Here’s the link:

Please include:
About your question on copying the settings to the Eclipse dark theme — if you mean applying this theme on top of the dark one, Eclipse doesn’t really support that.
If you meant something else, feel free to explain it in the issue so I can help better.
Thanks for taking the time to report this.
Thanks
