Interesting workshops where given like body language for women who lead from Carol Kinsey Goman, Ph.D. Very inspiring conference and motivational to see all this feminine power in tech!

Laury van Bedaf heeft hierop gereageerdLaury van Bedaf heeft hierop gereageerdOn Monday, September 11th, I had the pleasure of defending my PhD thesis at Utrecht University. And what a fantastic day it all was!!! I had great fun during the scientific discussion and it was heartwarming to see the Senate Hall full! My PhD trajectory was metaphorically described as a parachute jump. At first I observed my surroundings and soon felt like Alice in Wonderland: I was amazed by the all the knowledge, expertise, technology, I wanted to learn it all, I wanted to try it all. But, as I was getting closer and closer to the ground, I had a few times I was convinced I was going to crash. Nevertheless, I managed a safe and successful landing, culminating in my doctoral degree. I am grateful to my promotors Albert Heck and Thom Huppertz, and my co-promotor Karli Reiding, who have overseen and supported me throughout this adventure! I thank my family, friends and colleagues, past and present, who have been with me along the way, and ultimately during the celebration. The design of my thesis, which has received so many compliments, is my concept brought to life by Ines Vilalva (inesvilalva.com). And the beautiful photography is the wonderful work of Jos Kuklewski (www.jkimages.nl).

De samenwerking richt zich op het verder versterken van de zorgverlening in Zuid-Limburg, door de inzet van beschikbare eHealth of IT-toepassingen. En daarmee de ervaring van patiënten te optimaliseren en ook de werkdruk voor zorgverleners te verlichten. Woensdag heb ik samen met Leon Kempeneers van Philips (Benelux lead Healthcare) en David Jongen Voorzitter RvB Zuyderland dit samenwerkingscontract ondertekend.
