Omacom Foundation Funding
Hyprland
Exclusive
The tiling Wayland compositor that has been at the heart of Omarchy since day one, and one of its three core technologies. The sponsorship lets Vaxry work on it without having to think about commercial development or fundraising - and it freed the existing Hyprperks program to be released for everyone, for free. The deal runs three years, with an option for another two, and starts October 10.
Quickshell
Full-time Omacom Foundation employee
Quickshell is the desktop construction kit behind Omarchy Shell. It provides the building blocks for bars, menus, notifications, widgets, and lock screens, using QML to turn ideas into interfaces that update as you work. That flexibility lets people and their agents build plugins and shape the desktop around their needs. Its creator, outfoxxed, is a full-time Omacom Foundation employee as Head of Omarchy Shell and a member of Omarchy Core, working to make the shell and its foundations faster, more reliable, and easier to extend.

The tool that manages the language runtimes and, just as importantly, ships every coding-agent CLI as a lazy-loading stub. A new harness is one command away instead of a packaging project - which is what keeps Omarchy moving at the pace agent tooling actually ships.

Supporting 0xSero's work on local AI for three years. We're collaborating on making local models work beautifully out of the box on Omarchy, tuning them for the hardware you own, and connecting your computers into a mesh of intelligence. The goal is to make capable local AI an approachable alternative to frontier models and subscription-based intelligence.
