Teen Shot Near Crown Heights Army Recruiting Office: Police
Officials say a 14-year-old was hospitalized last week after being shot in the hip, and the suspect remains at large.

BROOKLYN, NY — A teen was shot near a Crown Heights Army Recruiting Office last week, and police say the shooter remains unidentified and at large.
Just before 10 p.m., a 14-year-old was shot twice—once in the left hip and once in the left hand—outside 1125 Eastern Parkway, at the corner of Utica Avenue, in front of the U.S. Army Recruiting Office in Crown Heights, police said.
The victim was brought to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition, officials said.

By the time police arrived, the shooter had already fled the scene in a vehicle and remains at large, authorities said.
On Tuesday, police released surveillance footage of the suspect, though no further description was provided.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to police officials.
