History:

queercasa (purposely lowercase) began as a grassroots organization formed by three queer Imperial county residents who knew the need for the first open minded, secular space that could provide access to resources to all members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community of Imperial County.

Mission:

We provide an environment for queer people of Imperial County to be empowered, uplifted, and supported.

Vision:

We envision a world in which queer people can thrive and lead happy, fulfilling lives.

Queer people of Imperial County are part of the everyday life and sustainability of the area. queercasa will bring queer people together to provide service to the community and find visibility and dignity in the place they call home.

queercasa is a connection between the community and 2SLGBTQIA+ people of Imperial County. Queer people will be supported in providing service to our community.

education

Education

queercasa will provide open minded, well researched information to the Imperial County regarding 2SLGBTQIA+ social, cultural, environmental and political issues. queercasa will be a place where anyone can come for accurate, secular information regarding queer people.

advocacy

Advocacy

queercasa will support the 2SLGBTQIA+ people of Imperial County by advocating for issues that impact our community.
