Hi sellers,

With fall underway, now's the critical time to optimize your Amazon business for one of the busiest shopping seasons of the year. I wanted to share some valuable tools and strategies that can help you maximize your Q4 operations:

Key Amazon Tools to Leverage 🔑:

  • Inventory Performance Dashboard - Essential for managing stock levels during peak season transitions. This tool is particularly crucial for Q4 when maintaining optimal inventory levels can make or break your holiday sales.
  • Product Opportunity Explorer - Discover seasonal shopping trends and identify potential opportunities in your category for fall and holiday merchandise.
  • Amazon Search Terms Report - Use this report to research trending search terms and understand how shopping patterns shift during key Q4 events like Prime Big Deal Days and Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
  • Amazon Ads Academy - A free resource to level up and optimize your spend on various campaigns.
  • Amazon Promotions - Create compelling deals around fall essentials, Thanksgiving and Halloween merchandise, and early holiday shopping!
  • Advertising Console - Leverage Amazon Ads to launch seasonal campaigns that capture fall, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and early holiday shopping traffic. Consider creating unique campaigns that capture themes from each major shopping event.

Key 2025 Fall Shopping Events to Prepare For 🛍️:

1. Prime Big Deal Days - Starting Tuesday, October 7th-8th

2. Thanksgiving - Monday, October 13th

3. Halloween - Thursday, October 31st

Early Holiday Shopping Season Prep:

1. Black Friday - Friday, November 28th

2. Cyber Monday - Monday, December 1st

Note: Make sure to review the Key Considerations from the full Retail Holiday Calendar for guidance on making the most out of these events.

Optimization Checklist:

  • Review last year's Q4 performance data, particularly focusing on inventory stockouts and successful promotional strategies.
  • Update seasonal keywords in listings to reflect fall and holiday shopping terms.
  • Refresh product and ad images with seasonally relevant content.
  • Plan your promotional calendar around upcoming events.
  • Set inventory reorder points accounting for longer Q4 lead times.
  • Ensure your customer service strategy can handle increased volume.

Share With Us 💬

I hope this helps you prepare for a successful fall season! What strategies have worked well for you during previous Q4 peaks? Share your tips or ask questions below, and stay tuned for more resources around Back to School and Prime Big Deals Day prep!

Best,

Canada Post Strike 25th September 2025
by Seller_0tgmLY6DD9MF1

Hello @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse@Seller_zukQNO61PzGck@Seller_WIFV02H2XUFgS@Seller_j9Bd91CW3ZVpr@Seller_PIHyltK09pbl3@Seller_4GjtS9k0cnHHv@Seller_CnfW62x6yxvJw@Seller_vtQxROP6UNr1O@Seller_7I1InA30aApWy

Due to the new wave of Canada Post strikes that will bring services to a halt, there is going to a lot of customers left without packages. This is going to result in negative feedback and A-Z claims, but you already know that. Whilst we do not directly use Canada Post, it is used through our global shipping partner Landmark Global.

I'm sure like last year it will also have a bearing on things like buy box eligibility and Account Health too.

Please can you tell us if there are going to be assurances like last year that we can get the assistance needed in order to remove said feedback and keep A-Z's to a minimum? We are happy to provide all of the data needed as and when these start trickling through, we just want to mitigate the impact as much as possible.

Kind regards

Chalkys CA

Hello. I was getting notifications and was informed by Amazon, I have till November 1st to upload my seller verification (like most who got the notification). While I was preparing everything (registering it, updating information), I woke up to a notification that the account was deactivated today (even though I had till November 1st to verify) .

I went to upload the information needed, as I was waiting for a credit card statement under the address, so I could verify, and when I went to upload it it did not give me the option to upload. I called Account Health, they told me to respond to the original email, letting them know to give me the ability to change my seller account details. I also launched a case. I got two case # 18580138171 and 18579842631 and but I am not sure if I am going in the right direction because I seem to be passed around, I was asked for the screenshot of the "error" I am seeing, and when I responded, I got a reply "You've written to an address that cannot accept incoming e-mail"

Can someone help me? I am trying to reactivate my account by uploading

1. Company registration extract

2. Credit card statement

3. Passport as ID. If needed

But I do not have the ability to upload from my side,

according to the street it just tells me to contact seller support.

On September 25, 2025, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) announced that they have initiated a nationwide strike, effective immediately. This is in response to the federal government’s announcement of major reforms to Canada Post. This strike will impact all Canada Post services.

At this time, we do not have a timeline for when the strike will end and normal operations will resume. We encourage you to review how this service interruption will affect your shipping needs and consider the following recommendations:

  1. For direct shipment to customers, we recommend that you transfer your shipments to alternative carriers or use Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) and we’ll manage customer deliveries for the duration of the strike.
  2. For Fulfilment by Amazon shipments to Amazon fulfilment centres, we recommend that you use alternative carriers to avoid potential delays from Canada Post.

For the latest information on the Canada Post strike, go to Canada Post negotiations updates.

Why does Amazon manipulate the reviews of my product

? In which universe do 10 x 5 stars and 1 x 2 stars add up to 4.2 total? In my universe, it is 4.7 stars. Why? I am not able to ask Amazon directly. There is no issue.

Canada identity verifications
by Seller_AYvnXqYWy3EsQ
Amazon replied

Hi,

We've been asked to verify our identity by Amazon Canada. We have no problem doing that as we are fully compliant. However, as per the screenshots attached, it said something went wrong when we go to the verification page. I'm keen to shows everything else but unable to proceed. I hope someone can help me and point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance

Daniel

Hello everyone and Amazon support team,

I would like to request that someone please assist!

My account is deactivated since September 12.

I sent all supported documents on September 15 (BIN, Passport, driver license, my recent shipment custom airway bill lading information, Ontario business registry screenshot, bank statement) to support my company existence. For reference, here are my related case ID: 18504974111

Yesterday I received an email from Amazon stating that they did not get any documents. This has caused confusion and concern, as I have already submitted the documents on time and through the proper process. Each time I inquire from Amazon seller staff, I am advised that if additional documentation is required, the Internal verification team will contact me by email but to date, I have received no such communication.

This situation is becoming extremely difficult for my business. I currently have 25 boxes of inventory from a recent shipment stored in my basement, which I cannot sell due to the account deactivation. With the holiday season approaching, this delay is causing significant financial and operational strain.

Thank you and please assist me, Cheers!
