1. Acceptance
By using TranscriptAPI you agree to these terms. We may update them at any time — continued use constitutes acceptance.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Resell or redistribute raw API access as a competing product
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the free tier
- Use the Service to generate or distribute illegal content
3. API Keys
Keep your API key private. You are responsible for all activity under your key. Report compromised keys to hello@transcriptapi.io.
4. Credits and Billing
Free tier
New accounts receive 20 free credits, resetting monthly.
Paid credits
Purchased credits do not expire and are non-transferable. Prices are in USD, taxes may apply.
Refunds
Unused purchased credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Email hello@transcriptapi.io.
5. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. No credits are charged for failed requests.
6. Disclaimer and Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms or illegal activity.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by German law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
