Federal officials involved in the prosecution of James Comey misled judges, submitted false statements and withheld key facts during the course of the investigation, defense lawyers allege in new court filings.

"The government now singles out Mr. Comey to prosecute one of the President’s most prominent critics for publishing another person’s statement of political opposition," attorneys for the former FBI director wrote.
The Tate brothers will appear today in Miami’s federal court after their arrest Saturday, kicking off a fight over efforts to extradite them to the UK.
Their arrests were approved by leadership of DOJ’s criminal division, according to the department.
The Tate brothers were taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant, placing the United States at the center of an international legal saga that has stretched from Romania to Britain.
