An incredible statement from someone who famously would not endorse Mamdani in the general election. Per usual, “Vote Blue” is a clever weapon deployed exclusively to reinforce the proposition that progressives should always lose.

If you were a supporter of the Uncommitted movement — which was significantly responsible for Trump 2.0 — then you are in no position to demand anything from Democrats.

Absolutely devastating, especially because residents have warned about this intersection for years. You can’t mix numerous complex turn signals, an unusually long crosswalk and a two-way bike lane and expect things to work out. I’ll be working with my Community Board 1 partners

LeBron James will be a resident of New York City while playing for the Sixers, per @WindhorstESPN. LeBron is officially set to commute daily from NYC to Philadelphia, potentially via helicopter.

More housing in your neighborhood is not a “sacrifice.” Most concerns people have about their neighborhood—high rents, vacant storefronts, homelessness, etc.—are downstream of our failure to build housing.

A problem with YIMBYs is that the name implies a willingness to make personal sacrifice (a housing development in your literal backyard) but then in practice, it manifests as the least costly form of activism there is (posting about being mad at Boomers).

Extreme temperatures, flooding, wildfires and air quality issues have become near-daily concerns yet our leaders get asked about what parade they’re attending more often than climate change.
