Show. 🎪 Today, we partnered with Digital Cinema Media and IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) to celebrate the very best of UK creativity, at The Greatest Ad Show - shining a spotlight on the most impactful, meaningful and entertaining work and the people behind it. ️⚡️ Embrace Doubt, Break Formulas: Alex Grieve from BBH and shelley smoler from Lucky Generals explored what will future proof creativity, outlining the importance of taste, relationships and embracing naivety saying, “true creativity should be about embracing the unknown and breaking free of formulas.” ️⚡️ The Stories Behind The Work: We got the inside track (and a NSFW insight on Apple Tango), thanks to a powerhouse panel featuring Miranda Hipwell (Adam&Eve), Lynsey Atkin (BabyTeeth), Trevor Robinson OBE (Quiet Storm), Mark Elwood (Leo Burnett), and David Wigglesworth (4creative) and powerful insights into the craft behind music and sound design from BAFTA and Oscar winner Parv Thind. ️⚡️ Standing Out vs Sameness: Tony Moore from Audi UK reminded us of the commercial value of creativity and the dangers of playing it safe, especially in this new era of advertising. ️⚡️ The Secret Sauce is Empathy: BAFTA-winning director Georgi Banks-Davis reminded us that filmmakers and creatives have an opportunity to “be brave, and use empathy to find what’s behind the story and feel something.” A brilliant celebration of the creative work that drives business and shapes culture.
