Sheshunoff Information Services (Austin, TX), a division of Warren, Gotham & Lamont (New York) and International Thomson Publishing, has acquired all the assets of A.S. Pratt (Arlington, VA). No terms of the acquisition were revealed.
Operations for the acquired company will remain in Virginia. A.S. Pratt properties include "Pratt's Letter," "Bank Wage-Hour & Personnel Report" and "Federal Banking Law Service."
Established in 1933, "Pratt's Letter" is believed to be the second oldest continuously published newsletter in the country behind "Kiplinger's Washington Letter," which began publication in 1923. Published every week, "Pratt's Letter" includes news reports and commentary on banking and monetary developments, regulations and legislation. …
