Amazon Global Store Returns
Use this page to learn about our Amazon Global Store policies for change of mind returns and faulty items returns. This Policy does not affect additional rights you may have under law.
Change of mind returns
You may return most new and unopened Amazon Global Store items within 30 days of receipt of delivery for a full refund of the price you paid for the item, if you change your mind. Unless otherwise stated, original delivery fees for change of mind returns are not refunded. Change of mind returns within 30 days of receipt of delivery are easy with our Online Returns Centre. Please note that it can take up to 30 days for an item to reach us once you return it.
If you return items to us and we receive them after the return window, restocking or late return fees may be deducted from your refund amount if the items returned are not due to Amazon's error or a faulty item. Late return fees enable us to receive and process the item back into our inventory. Please see Amazon Global Store Refunds policy for more details.
Returning faulty items
For returns of defective, faulty, damaged or incorrect items, once your return is processed, you will receive a full refund of the price you paid for the item. This includes the original delivery costs, Import Fees ("Import Fees Deposit" or "Import Charges") and reasonable substantiated delivery costs associated with returning the item(s) to us. If you have already received a partial refund of your Import Fees Deposit prior to returning the item, the remainder of the Import Fees Deposit will be returned following receipt of your item.
Where possible, please notify us of faulty items by visiting Online Returns Centre or contacting us within 30 days of receipt of delivery.

Faulty items do not have to be returned in their original packaging, but must be packaged appropriately to avoid damage during the return shipping process.
Return Shipping Options
Some Amazon Global Store items can now be returned via the same local returns options outlined below. For others, you will be provided with a prepaid label (if eligible), or a label to ship it yourself at your own expense.
Prepaid labels
You can return items to Amazon AU using an eligible return option displayed in Online Returns Centre
If you are using ParcelPoint service and the 'No label Drop off' option is displayed, you can select that option to return your package without printing a ParcelPoint return label. Upon selecting this option, a prepaid ParcelPoint return code will be generated for your return. The code will be activated for use and can be scanned at a ParcelPoint location 30 minutes after it has been generated. You will need to display the return code on your smartphone and have the code scanned when you visit the ParcelPoint location to drop off your package, before your return window expires.

Self-ship labels
If a prepaid return option is not available for your return, ship the item to us with a carrier that is convenient for you using the self-ship label provided. We recommend that you use a trackable delivery service. Please retain any tracking information given to you by the carrier. For more information on return shipping, see Return Shipping. About I'll Send and Pay Returns:
- For certain items, e.g. those that are classified as hazardous materials, we require you to return the item via self-ship. We recommend that you use AU Post or a trackable delivery service that is convenient for you. To find your closest AU Post location, visit AU Post Locator. For AU Post, you will need to complete the Customs Declaration form (link) and show the QR code to AU Post at the counter. Please retain any tracking information and receipt given to you by AU Post or the carrier you select.
- For NZ customers, you can send the parcel from your nearest NZ Post Office or DHL Express location. To find your closest NZ Post location, visit Find NZ Post or go to the DHL Drop-off Locator.
Does it cost to return my items?
Prepaid labels
- If the reason for return is the result of an Amazon error or a faulty item, or if we have agreed to bear the return shipping costs, no return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
- If the reason for return is not the result of an Amazon error or a faulty item, or if we have not agreed to bear return shipping costs, a return shipping fee of AU$24 for items sold by Amazon US, AU$15 for items sold by Amazon UK, AU$16 for items sold by Amazon Germany and AU$16 for items sold by Amazon Japan will be deducted from your refund amount. If the total value of the item(s) you have returned using a single pre-paid label is less than AU$24 for items sold by Amazon US, AU$15 for items sold by Amazon UK, AU$16 for items sold by Amazon Germany and AU$16 for items sold by Amazon Japan there will be no refund for that return .
- If the reason for return is the result of an Amazon error or a faulty item, or if we have agreed to bear the return shipping costs, when the returned item(s) are received by us, your refund will automatically include AU$24 (Amazon US) or AU$32 (Amazon UK / Amazon Germany / Amazon Japan) in return shipping fees. If your reasonable return shipping costs exceed AU$32, you will need to Contact us and provide evidence to us to substantiate the reasonable costs incurred for which you will be reimbursed.
- If the reason for return is not the result of an Amazon error or a faulty item, or if we have not agreed to bear the return shipping costs, you are responsible for paying the cost of return shipping. Return shipping costs will not be reimbursed for that return. This does not apply to items that are returned because they are faulty.
- For high value returns, you may have to pay custom duties. If you return a defective, damaged or incorrect item, you can contact us to claim a refund of the custom duties by providing evidence to substantiate the cost of the custom duties incurred.
Customer Damage
Amazon Global Store is not required to accept any returned item that, as a result of customer negligence, misuse or tampering is, damaged, missing parts or in unsellable condition.
Other rights
