  • Microsoft Security Tutorial: Implementing Per-User MFA and MFA via Conditional Access Policy [Video]

Per-user MFA can be enabled by going to the Azure portal, selecting "Users", and then choosing the specific user you want to enable MFA. Once you've selected the user, you can check the box next to "Enable multi-factor authentication," and Azure will take care of the rest.

A conditional access policy can be used to implement company-wide MFA. To do this, go to the Azure portal and navigate to "Security" and then "Conditional access." Here, you can create a new policy that requires all users to use MFA when accessing Microsoft 365 applications.

Once you've created the policy, you can specify which authentication methods users can use. For example, you can require them to use the Microsoft Authenticator app, make phone calls, or use one-time passwords.

  • Microsoft Azure Tutorial: Azure Administration Certification Paths [Video]

Fundamentals: one-day courses that introduce you to Azure's basic concepts and terminology. There are two foundational courses: Azure Fundamentals and AI Fundamentals.

Associate: These courses are more in-depth and designed for administrators who will be performing day-to-day operations in Azure. They are typically 3-5 days long. Some of the associate courses include Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Azure Network Engineer, and Azure AI Engineer.

Expert: These certifications require you to pass more than one exam. They typically require that you have already earned a relevant associate certification. For example, the Azure Solutions Architect
Expert requires that you first earn the Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate certification.

Specialty: These certifications focus on specific areas of Azure. For example, the Azure Virtual Desktop specialty focuses on deploying and managing virtual desktops in Azure.

  • Microsoft Copilot Tutorial: Introduction to Copilot for Microsoft 365 [Video]

In this video, you will learn about Microsoft Copilot, an artificial intelligence built into many Microsoft products. The instructor, Tarik Rukab, an Exit Certified and Axcel ILT trainer, will briefly discuss Microsoft Copilot and then do a quick demonstration.

Microsoft Copilot can be accessed through Bing or a browser at copilot.microsoft.com. It has a free version for everyday use and a paid version that requires additional licensing, which is around $30 a month. The paid version is beneficial for productivity and collaboration apps and helps calculate formulas in Excel, build PowerPoint presentations, and much more.

Microsoft Copilot is also integrated into the Windows operating system. The Copilot icon is on the taskbar. Different versions of Copilot are available, including Copilot for Business, Copilot for Analytics, and Copilot for Security. Tarik recommends researching the specific version you need before implementing it.

Tarik then gives a quick demo of Copilot. He shows how to use Copilot to create a virtual machine scale set in Azure behind a frontend load balancer and explains how Copilot can write the script or JSON template for you.
