This audio novella is a stand-alone prequel to the Cormac Reilly series.

The narrator kept me interested. She was exceptional. I liked the story but the "who done it?" was obvious. I may give the next book in the series a listen.

Too predictable but enjoyed anyway .

I would’ve given this 5 stars except for the use of bad language, which was totally unnecessary! The story itself was very intriguing and the narrator’s PERFORMANCE
was awesome, but several F Bombs and other bad language caused me to rate the OVERALL and the STORY only 3 stars!

Very much enjoyed this novella. From the sample piece to the finish, I never put it down! A very good who-done-it read!

Great mystery!

Other than the fact that the protagonist in this story seemed unusually unfazed and unconcerned when things in her life went sideways, it was an okay two and a half hours.

It was OK, not great.

I haven't read the series this is part of but if the writing is this good consistently then I might try it. Good narration and a great ending. Loved it.

I've listened to this book several times. I kept falling asleep after Chapter 3. It didn't keep my attention even though it's a short story. The story ended well, but the in-between was too slow.

Wendyful

it was short and sweet, the narrating was great, loved the tone of her voice and accent. It was refreshing listening to a book without too much curse words. I finished it in one listen.
