CMS has had a long-lasting impact on me. With the CMS philosophy of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam', I always saw myself as an element in the larger design. This helped me pursue my career as a civil servant who can contribute on a much larger scale. Moreover the way of life taught in CMS which emphasized leadership, honesty, team work, etc. helped me grow as an individual and make significant contributions not only to my own life or career but also to the lives of others.

Studying at City Montessori School not only provided me with a robust academic foundation but also exposed me to a diverse range of activities that shaped me holistically. This unique environment cultivated a passion for blending sciences with legal studies, an interdisciplinary approach that became pivotal in my academic pursuits at Harvard. Moreover, the exceptional faculty served as a constant source of inspiration and guidance, equipping me with the skills and mindset necessary to secure a place at Harvard.

I applied for need-based financial aid while seeking admission at Cornell, which was granted with 100% Tata Trust Scholarship and an offer letter for admission. Seeing me excel in Sciences, my teachers always motivated me to work hard and seek admission in the best university. I was ably guided by my school’s career counselor which helped me to choose the right place for my further studies.

At CMS, my natural curiosity was fostered by participating in multiple international maths and science olympiads, which took me to Indonesia, Mexico, Philippines, and Taiwan from the young age of 9. These international experiences broadened my horizons, as I got to see different education systems. I realized that studying in the world’s most renowned research institutions was the best way to develop myself to the fullest.

Serving as the Head Boy and as Secretary-General of CMS MUN, my experience at City Montessori School truly transformed my perspective on life and inspired me to dream big. The commitment to peace education instilled values of empathy and cooperation, preparing us to contribute positively to the world. I am grateful for a truly enriching academic journey which could help me secure 99% and become Uttar Pradesh’s first holder of the prestigious Lester B. Pearson Scholarship at the University of Toronto.

CMS owes all the credit for the position I hold today. Dr Jagdish Gandhi’s speeches have contributed to this success. CMS philosophy has influenced my thinking positively and motivated me to strive for excellence in all areas of life. The institution's tradition of honouring toppers by weighing their mothers in fruit and flowers is unique and commendable. The teacher-guardian scheme certainly builds a better rapport between students and teachers.

CMS education has helped me tremendously. I find I have a certain flexibility in world view that resists any bigotry, any attempt to create divisions on the basis of nationality, sex, religion, caste, creed or colour. This has helped me in my travels around the world, my work with people of all nationalities and in my pleasant habitat in Singapore.
