  • The late Pongsak cofounded hospital chain Bangkok Dusit Medical Services with fellow doctor Prasert Prasarttong-Osoth but eventually cashed out to build his own listed healthcare outfit Principal Capital.
  • His son Satit was chairman of Principal Capital until June 2024 when he resigned after the regulator fined him for alleged stock manipulation.
  • Satit also owns a stake in listed Bumrungrad Hospital. His daughter Arisa has a board seat at Principal Capital.
