    I'm thrilled that my recent NASA Technology Transfer University (T2U) Innovation Series presentation has now been posted on the NASA Technology Transfer Program website. During the session, I had the opportunity to share how the UNC Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado is using NASA-developed technologies to create immersive learning experiences that connect students with innovation, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem solving. One of the things I enjoy most about the T2U program is that it challenges students to think beyond the classroom. Working with actual NASA technologies, they develop commercialization concepts, engage with industry and community partners, and gain experience that prepares them to lead in an increasingly innovation-driven economy.   • ⚡ NASA’s Lightning-AI: Advanced Lightning Prediction Webinar Discover Lightning‑AI, a new NASA technology developed at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center with the The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Built to address a longstanding gap in lightning detection, Lightning‑AI identifies the atmospheric precursors of lightning initiation well before the first strike, providing the lead time reactive systems cannot. Using physics‑based radar signatures and deep‑learning models, Lightning‑AI delivers earlier operational insight for aviation, weather services, emergency management, spaceflight operations, and large venues. He served as the nation’s only civilian Launch Range Commander, was a core member of NASA’s agency-wide Technical Capabilities team and led strategic planning initiatives as Deputy Director for Strategy at Wallops Flight Facility and Assistant Director for Strategy and Capability at Goddard. Among his proudest achievements are leading the Wallops Launch Range during a time of great transition and his current work as a thought leader in space policy and as an Emeritus mentoring future leaders both within and beyond NASA.
