What happens when two CEOs responsible for different layers of the enterprise AI stack compare notes on where the market is headed? On CNBC Voices from the Valley interview with Shereen Bhan, Rackspace CEO Gajen Kandiah and Umesh Sachdev, CEO of Uniphore, discussed AI sovereignty, enterprise-owned intelligence and what it takes to move AI from pilots into production. The conversation also explores why organizations are increasingly focused on the cost of outcomes rather than the cost of compute, and why governance, orchestration and operational accountability are becoming critical as AI scales across the enterprise. 📺 👉 Watch the TV interview: https://bit.ly/3Slofwr.

There is a lot of discussion around AI in security right now, and what is more interesting is how it is being used inside SOC teams. Craig Fretwell [MVP], Global Head of Cyber Defense, joined the AWS Security Live! Podcast to talk through that shift. From alert-heavy workflows to AI-assisted operations, the focus is on helping analysts move faster, reduce noise and make better decisions with more context. Craig also highlights key trends from our Annual Threat Hunting Report, which explores how organizations are adapting to this new model. Read the report: https://bit.ly/4vBojqi. AWS Partners

Our Healthcare Customer Advisory Council brought healthcare leaders together in New York this week for two days of candid discussion and collaboration. 🏥 From AI adoption and interoperability to security, resilience and healthcare operations, the conversations reflected both the opportunities and the realities healthcare organizations are navigating today. Thank you to everyone who participated. Your insights help us better understand where the industry is headed and how we can continue supporting healthcare organizations as they operationalize new technologies and navigate change.
Last week, we convened healthcare leaders in New York for the inaugural meeting of our Healthcare Advisory Council. The discussion stayed on the parts that are genuinely hard. How to keep clinical data sovereign and governed. How to simplify the sprawl of applications around Epic and the core clinical systems. How to move AI from pilots that demo well to something that holds up at the bedside. Governance and security ran through every session, less as a feature and more as the basic condition for being credible in this market. One thing came through clearly across the day. Healthcare does not want another platform to manage. It wants a trusted operator to run the critical stack, keep control of where data flows, and make the spend predictable enough that a CFO and a board will approve it. Thank you to everyone who came ready to be candid. That is what this council is for. We are grateful for it, and we are already working on what we heard. More to come on this one. What is the first barrier you would remove to get healthcare AI out of the pilot phase?

Enterprise AI is changing the way organizations think about infrastructure. As AI workloads become more integrated across business operations, conversations are expanding beyond performance to include governance, dedicated environments and operational accountability. The infrastructure supporting AI plays an important role in helping organizations balance flexibility with greater control while meeting evolving business and compliance requirements. 👀 Take a closer look at what's driving the conversation around governed AI infrastructure: https://bit.ly/3SJGM5H.

FinOps has matured into a core discipline for managing complexity across multicloud environments. At Rackspace Technology, that maturity shows up at scale. Donny Cross, VP of Strategic Operations at Rackspace Technology, oversees what he describes as the largest FinOps practice in the industry, managing nearly $1.5B in cloud spend across roughly 2,000 customers. Rackspace combines cloud-specific tooling with dedicated FinOps practitioners who are incentivized to drive outcomes, including engagements that, as Donny notes, pay for themselves. As hybrid and AI workloads continue to evolve, this execution model helps organizations govern complexity and focus on measurable results. https://bit.ly/4bJ7QcZ.

Everyone talks about infrastructure, models and data. But enterprise AI also depends on something harder to scale: the people who can connect technical execution with real business outcomes. That's the idea behind Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs). Rackspace FDEs embed directly with customer teams, working alongside stakeholders from discovery through deployment and ongoing operations. They help bridge business and technical teams, accelerate validation and support the move from prototype to production. Learn about our FDEs: https://lnkd.in/gDxMrSDa. Where enterprise AI runs, outcomes have to scale. That requires more than point solutions. It requires the foundation, operations and partner ecosystem to work together as one governed system. Rackspace drives accountability across the full stack, from edge to core to cloud. We bring together best-of-breed partners across the AI ecosystem to help enterprises move AI into production. With Uniphore, we're helping define a new category of infrastructure-to-agents architecture that helps organizations move from pilot to production with governance, control and accountability. 💡 AI IN ACTION: AI in education depends on making the right decisions at scale, not just adoption. Apporto partnered with Rackspace Technology to evaluate six large language models on AWS using real grading workflows, gaining a clearer understanding of cost, accuracy and scalability. The result is a data-driven approach to AI that supports both educators and students, with a path to reduce grading costs by up to 75% while maintaining quality. 📚 This is what responsible AI adoption looks like in practice. Enterprise AI comes to life when infrastructure, platforms, applications, governance and resilience operate as one system. But managing those layers across multiple vendors can create complexity, accountability gaps and operational overhead. Rackspace operates the full stack as one governed system, giving enterprises a single operator accountable across the stack. Because outcomes matter more than complexity.
