Wrongful Conviction Day reminds us: justice delayed is lives disrupted. Thomson Reuters is proud to support legal nonprofits like Miles of Freedom and The Innocence Center—organizations transforming lives through advocacy and innovation to support those impacted by wrongful imprisonment. Through the Thomson Reuters Social Impact Institute, as well as our AI for Justice program, which provides access and training to specialist legal AI tools, we're helping these organizations scale their impact, accelerating justice for the innocent. As Richard Miles, Dallas exoneree and founder of Miles of Freedom, says: "Since 2021, we've partnered with Thomson Reuters to turn commitment into action." Michael Semanchik, Executive Director, The Innocence Center, added that through the AI for Justice Program “We’re not just doing more work—we’re doing better work. And that means more innocent people getting out of prison sooner.” Justice isn’t just a principle—it’s a practice. Organizations with a clear AI strategy are twice as likely to achieve revenue growth. Yet, 31% still lack significant adoption plans, according to our annual Future of Professionals Report. In an AI-powered future, one skill stands out as essential for every professional: adaptability. At Thomson Reuters, we’ve learned that successful AI transformation means moving beyond hesitation—toward curiosity and experimentation. Our colleague-focused AI strategy is co-led by both technology and talent, and built around the 4Ts: · Tone from the top · Training · Tools · Time to experiment This approach is driving real results—in our capacity, productivity, and the scale and speed of our innovation. Today, more than 70% of our colleagues use one or more AI tools daily. Our teams have developed over 100 internal AI use cases, many of which are already in production. AI is helping us automate workflows and free up time for more strategic, high-impact work. The future of work is here. Are you ready to lead with curiosity, learn with intention, and evolve with purpose? #AIinWorkDay

One year ago, Thomson Reuters launched its AI for Justice program to help address the 90% of U.S. civil legal needs that go unrepresented, often in urgent cases involving domestic violence or eviction. By providing legal nonprofits with CoCounsel, our professional-grade AI assistant, and deep integration support, we’re transforming access to justice and seeing real impact in our efforts to close the justice gap. The impact: - Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino attorneys have served over 2,000 more clients this year, are saving up to 15 hours each a week, and have resolved double the number of urgent calls to its advice hotline - Veterans Legal Institute is preparing eviction materials in minutes instead of hours—helping more veterans stay housed. - The Innocence Center has tripled the number of petitions submitted to overturn wrongful convictions, potentially freeing innocent people years earlier. This is more than efficiency—it’s about expanding hope and accelerating justice. As Pablo Ramirez of Legal Aid Society of San Bernadino shared: “CoCounsel lets us cut through hours of paperwork and focus on what truly matters—standing with a survivor in court or protecting someone’s home.” See the impact: https://lnkd.in/eXRxC5-x #AIforJustice #AccessToJustice #LegalAid #TechForGood #ThomsonReuters

The agentic AI revolution is here, and it's separating the leaders from the followers. Our Chief Product Officer David Wong's latest Fortune piece identifies what's really driving this shift: four non-negotiables that determine whether AI can truly handle professional work—advanced reasoning models, authoritative domain content, deep subject-matter expertise, and access to professional tools. It's not just about having smart algorithms. The winners will be those who recognize that professional-grade agentic AI requires the intersection of all four elements working together. While many in the market are still assembling these pieces, Thomson Reuters has integrated this complete foundation. That's the difference between AI that answers questions and AI that professionals can actually delegate meaningful work to—at scale. We're not just participating in the transformation of professional work; we're leading it. Read more: https://lnkd.in/e4x6CWwE
